Divine Energy Message April 9th to April 15th 2018
“The distinction between the past, present and future is only a stubbornly persistent illusion.” ― Albert Einstein
Remembering that the overarching energy for April was EMOTION, the prevailing message is about the ebb and flow of our internal emotions. Our EMOTIONal balance is a continual and changing state of affairs Who can avoid their feelings, those innermost urges which lead us towards or away from places, people, events which cause us pain, pleasure, discomfort or joy?
This week ILLUSION came as our message and the card SENSES immediately flew out with it. Here are two cards, which go intrinsically together.
The message was plain. Be aware of the ILLUSION that may seem real to you by using all your SENSES to become aware of the subtle nuances, which may be hidden under apparent truths. All too often, we take people, places, and events at face value, rarely looking beyond the first appearance to see if everything is right. Our instincts, once finely honed when we needed to provide for ourselves have become dulled by complaisance. Where is the fire that burned so brightly in our “belly” as we navigated the uncharted waters of life? We need the fiery energies at play in April to burn away the ILLUSION we may be facing.
There is a well-known saying, “looking through rose coloured glasses.” This is how so many of us walk through our days. We rarely allow our intuition, our gut instinct, to guide us, not even thinking about the many other SENSES we can use. All too often we hear that someone has behaved in a certain way, which was unexpected, took people completely unawares. Why is that? Do we never really look at our world, the people within it and truly see them as they are?
We can be missing some wonderful experiences if we fail to see the beauty, which surrounds us. How wonderful it would be if we could also avoid the pain and heartache of betrayal, avoid the shattering of faith because we expected too much from someone, or even of ourselves.
If we look at a reflection within a pond, we can see an exact replica of what we look at. If however a pebble is dropped in the water, the ripples distort the image. Which is real? Which is an ILLUSION? Is it the perfect image or the shattered image, which is the true reflection of what we see and experience? The answer is both! Both experiences are real because they teach us different aspects of our own inner self. Have you stopped to look at something from every perspective? Have you detected an ILLUSION in what is presented to you? Have you used all your SENSES to feel into something to find out everything you can about it?
You have been gifted with many SENSES to help you, so use them wisely and use them constantly. As you do so they will become more finely honed and will be a great guide in making wise decisions. If you look into each happening in your life, looking into every aspect so that any ILLUSION must be shattered, then you will avoid the pitfall of the unaware.
This is the gift of our message this week. No ILLUSION will remain if we use all our SENSES to look into everything and see, understand, all that we can glean from every situation. Only then can we make sound, judged decisions knowing that we are in alignment with our inner self, our Higher Self and will be moving with integrity and authenticity through our days and nights.
Much love on your journey through this week.
“Dream delivers us to dream, and there is no end to illusion. Life is like a train of moods like a string of beads, and, as we pass through them, they prove to be many-colored lenses which paint the world their own hue. . . . ” ― Ralph Waldo Emerson
This month the overarching energies are EMOTION. There has been a noticeable progression as we move through 2018. EMOTION asks us to take particular attention of where our EMOTIONs are, to acknowledge them, heal them, and maintain a positive energy outlook at all times. (You can see the full forecast for the year here. )
“Allow yourself to think only those thoughts that match your principles and can bear the bright light of day. Day by day, your choices, your thoughts, your actions fashion the person you become. Your integrity determines your destiny.”
― Heraclitus
This week the message is to always act in INTEGRITY, yet being in INTEGRITY means so much more than this. What does it mean to you, to be in complete INTEGRITY with all that you think, say, and do?
The image of the white Unicorn is a reminder of the purity, innocence, and honesty, which ties all nature together. We are part of nature, even if we often forget this. What a beautiful thing to be an integral part of; that we can inhabit a domain where the purity and innocence of the white Unicorn is alive with us. She is surrounded by the energy of the Divine, flowing down into her forehead / third eye and of Mother Nature. We see Sprites and Fairies flying around her. Is it unsurprising that she is walking amidst a purple floral garden? I think not.
You are asked to pay closer attention to how you think and feel, and indeed act in any given situation. Are you acting in truth and INTEGRITY? It is so easy to make compromises with ourselves when we make a decision over something. We bend the ‘rules’ or the compromise the truth so that we can make life easier for others or ourselves. Yet in the end, who really benefits? Our conscience invariably returns to decisions made which are out of alignment with our Highest Purpose. We find ourselves doing more to reach our end goal because we failed to act in INTEGRITY at the beginning. It is all too easy to fall into this trap.
It is only by trusting to our inner guidance, our intuition, and honouring our Higher Self that we can make our decisions, wise decisions. They are then decisions, actions, thoughts, and feelings, which are in alignment with our Divinity, in complete INTEGRITY with all we are and what we have come here to achieve.
I am suddenly reminded of a part of a song by Johnny Cash, “walk tall, walk straight, and look the world right in the eye.” This is what we are being reminded of here. We can hold our heads high with grace as we traverse our lives if we but act with INTEGRITY at all times. (I will find the song and post it to my Facebook page.)
Love and peace of mind do protect us. They allow us to overcome the problems that life hands us. They teach us to survive… to live now… to have the courage to confront each day. Bernie Siegel
This week is the last of March and leads us into the huge energy portal, which is Easter week. The energies for April will come in next weekend and I will do another reading specifically for Easter then.
March’s overarching energy was NURTURE and we see the month closing with a powerful message – PROTECT. There is an undeniable feeling of strength and purpose in the warrior’s stance. He exudes power, restrained force. He is there to guard against whatever may come, and to protect whatever he stands before.
In order to look after ourselves we must also be prepared to PROTECT all that we are and all we hold dear. It is a time to take a stand A time to declare what we stand for and in so doing to be prepared to PROTECT the integrity of that. It is not a time to vacillate between this or that, to be unsure about where we are heading or even if we are heading in the same direction as someone else. All that we are, all that we believe in – we are being asked to take a stand and hold to its truth. The truth as it is in our heart and in our soul, even if that means we must walk this path alone.
Taking a stand and having a voice which others may not agree with has its own ‘dangers’. There are always those who will try to shout you down, to ridicule you and even to undermine your message. It takes courage to stand in the face of ‘opposition’. We therefore need to PROTECT ourselves from this negativity, for that is what all obstacles in our path truly are – negative energy put there to prevent us from following our path.
Spirit reminds us that our NATURE (March’s overarching energy), once it has been declared, may need to have the warrior in place to PROTECT us. There is nothing wrong or weak in acknowledging that there are situations and indeed other people, from whom we need protection. Life, our progress in life, our growth as a spiritual being in human form, occasionally demands that we take a stand. It is also true that we can sometimes fall back on our old patterns in the face of opposition as that is the easier course! We are asked to stand firm, to affirm our stance and PROTECT our inner child as well as our outspoken visible self.
This is even more important as we head towards the Easter portal. As we open ourselves to the light, which is entering our planet, we need to PROTECT ourselves from the negative or ‘dark’ energies, which may surface at this time. Wherever there is an abundance of light, we see an upsurge of darkness. We can see this in the number of terror attacks and people acting from a place of fear, anger, resentment, or hate. Surround yourself with light (PROTECT) and you are protected from the ravages of negativity. The dark, heavy negative energies will flow past you and your light will help them on their path. Stay in your 5 Dimensional way of being and prepare for more Upgrades.
“I don’t know what your destiny will be, but one thing I know: the only ones among you who will be truly happy are those who have sought and found how to serve.” —Albert Schweitzer
This week we have the beautiful card “PURPOSE.” Look at the gorgeous colours within the card, which draw the eye. This card speaks to me of eternity – gifts flowing from the Divine, which we are giving out to those who need to hear us, be healed by us, listen to our message. We are asked to open like the lotus flower and share the beauty we carry within with those around us, no matter how far away they may be.
The light we choose to shine, the life we willing share with others is like the reflection of the lotus in the waters of life. It is also reflect in the light which is flowing up, out of the centre of the lotus, from the centre of the Cosmos, the centre of the Divine. The multitude of orbs spiralling up and around is indicative of the gifts we can not only receive but choose to share with others.
Everything about the image is asking us what we wish to do with our lives. Do we know what our ultimate purpose is? What is it that makes our heart sing as we do it? Are you aware what particular gifts you have but are perhaps unaware of? Sometimes we need to ask someone close to us how he or she sees us as we traverse each day if we don’t know ourselves.
It is worthwhile taking the time to listen to your own inner knowingness, to let that inner voice of wisdom speak and to really listen to that wisdom. So much of what we do on a daily basis can bring joy to someone, or encourage them to reach a little further than they have already. Being a “role model” or inspiring someone to do what they may have seen, heard or admired as we move through life can be an incredible gift. Random acts of kindness can have immense flow on effects we may never be aware of, yet they are so important.
What is your purpose? How can YOU make the world a better place? Do you need to become active within your community as a healer, a teacher, a spiritual voice for someone else to hear? Part of being aware of how you fit into this “PURPOSE” is to keep doing what fulfils you, what feels inherently right, even though you may not know who you affect or influence. It is YOUR Time to Shine!
Remember, the energy of the month is NATURE, so we are talking about our inner and outer nature here. How are you perceived by others? How do you help others to become all they can be? Are you an observer in life or a participant in creating a beautiful life for all?
“Our revels now are ended. These our actors, As I foretold you, were all spirits and Are melted into air, into thin air: And, like the baseless fabric of this vision, The cloud-capp’d towers, the gorgeous palaces, The solemn temples, the great globe itself, Ye all which it inherit, shall dissolve And, like this insubstantial pageant faded, Leave not a rack behind. We are such stuff As dreams are made on, and our little life Is rounded with a sleep.” …….William Shakespeare, The Tempest.
This week we move from February’s energies and into March. This year is all about Change, New Ideas, Updates, Change in the way we think, feel or do everything within our lives. February’s over-arching energy was MOVE and March is NATURE. Of course, as the wheel of the year turns everything changes and this year we are being asked to move synchronistical with external and internal changes,
The two cards to take us through to the end of February and the beginning of March are ENCHANTMENT and GUARDIANS. Both messages belong together this week and do fit in beautifully together.
With Enchantment we see the huge luminosity of a full moon (perfect for March 1/2), drawing the spellbound gaze of a young boy sitting on a ledge. He is enraptured by the vista, mesmerized by it, and I hear captured by the stories playing through his imagination. It is from “the stuff of dreams” that the seeds of the present and the future are born and released. We are reminded that dreams do not vanish always, but often are changed as they are shaped by the changes times can bring. It is the “Inner Child” we must remember, nurture and welcome into our daily life who can keep those dreams alive.
The eye is drawn symbolically to the closeness of the moon, reminiscent of the Blue Moon last month, and yet the small child holds space before her without losing itself. They show no fear as they perch above the skyline – for their inner imagining sees no barriers to what may be possible. This is what we are asked to remember also. Never lose sight of your dreams. Be open to any possibilities but be flexible enough to adapt to changes. The Universe is their oyster, is indeed our oyster, and we have but to reach towards it with our heart and spirit to lead us towards a future undreamed of. All things are possible if we dare to dream.
GUARDIANS is a beautiful image, which always brings comfort. Within its depths, we see the immensity of Spirit, our loved ones and our Guardians stretching away into the infinite Universe. The huge wingspan reminds me of Archangel Metatron and Michael, and all the others we are connected to who are there to offer guidance, teaching, and comfort when needed.
Remember that in as much as Guardians surround us we are also Guardians ourselves, of our loved ones, family, friends, and our planet. It is also a reminder that we are part of this greater cosmic circle of life and need to be an active participant within it. It is no longer time for us to stand back for someone else to take responsibility for what is happening or will happen in the future. We, each of us, have a responsibility to take positive actions, for ourselves and to help others so that the dreams of the future can indeed take shape. As such the Enchantment and dreams of the Inner Child are able to come forth only when we becomes active as Guardians ourselves, knowing we are assisted by our own Guardians in moving forward together to a better, 5D way of life. It is a time to dream, be playful, live life fully and consciously supported by our loved ones as we support others.
As we move towards NATURE, we remember that it is the physical beauty of Mother Earth, our need to be close to her and grounded within her and also to our inner self. The connection between our very natures and the world we inhabit is called into play. The earthly cycles are as important as the cycle of life, is the cycle of life! As we see our weather patterns showing such upheaval, a reflection of Gaia, we also see the sometimes violent upheaval within ourselves – such as the shooting in Florida, the shooting deaths of two people by police in one week in South East Queensland, Australia.
We are asked to balance our Inner Child and the outward signs of a 3D world with the true nature of a 5D world. Nature is doing this in a noticeable way, so too are we asked to sometimes go through dramatic changes to allow our true nature to shine. The playful, engaging, dreaming Inner Child also has a great resilience to setbacks. They dream a little more until the dream is reality, they bring their true Nature into being.
“When someone loves you, the way they say your name is different. You know that your name is safe in their mouth.” ― Jess C. Scott, The Intern
In this wonderful life, this often difficult to understand existence we share with the world around us and all its inhabitants, we can be forgiven for wondering what is wonderful about it. It can drive us to distraction and also to the heights of ecstasy, all within the space of moments. It can make us question our reason for being, our reason to stay, and our reason for the apparently innumerable atrocities we are bombarded with daily.
I rarely watch the news broadcasts, the innumerable advertisements, radio broadcasts, or read the newspapers. Good news is hard to find in any of these places and the horrors are far too many to count. It is difficult to find the “milk of human kindness” whilst being deluged with the nightmarish ability of some people to perpetuate abominable acts.
Yet, even accepting all of this, I still feel, still believe, that this life is wonderful. We have been gifted with an abundance of beauty, of goodness, kindness and the opportunity to share our happiness, gratitude, and kindness with our fellow Spirits, our fellow travellers on life’s road. We have the choice, should we decide to do so, to make a difference in our world, even if it is only in a small way. Even the small acts of kindness and gratitude add up and make a significant difference to others and to our world. Without these simple acts of goodness, we would surely be in a dark place.
“I wanted a perfect ending. Now I’ve learned, the hard way, that some poems don’t rhyme, and some stories don’t have a clear beginning, middle, and end. Life is about not knowing, having to change, taking the moment and making the best of it, without knowing what’s going to happen next.”
Delicious Ambiguity.” ― Gilda Radner
I see the struggle some people have to endure, the hardships and terrors, homelessness and cruelty and I know that our small acts of consideration are immeasurably worthwhile. The “Thank You” to a waiter or shop assistant for serving us with a smile, helping us to find something we want and in doing so, making our day better. They deserve the same acknowledgement. It makes my heart light to return a smile, a “Thank You” and more, to let their superior know that they’ve done a good job. It takes but a small moment and can mean so much.
We can have no idea what is happening in their lives – the hardships or losses that might be lightened, even slightly, by a kind word or gesture. I remember one sad-looking lady, going about her job in the coffee shop, smiling in all the right places, going out of her way to help by bringing someone an extra jug of milk with a smile. A smile tinged with sadness – hiding the loss of someone dear. A gentle touch on her wrist, a connection between our eyes as I thanked her for her kindness and for just a moment, I saw that dark cloud lift, just a little. Letting her boss know how good the service was and seeing her smile again – worth so much to know I may have made a small difference for just a moment. Who knows how important such a moment may be? If we truly wish to be able to live “In This Wonderful Life” then we must rethink our way of thinking, feeling, acting and living.
These small acts of kindness, or “Random Acts of Kindness” as they have become known, are often as precious as gold or silver. They spread ripples out into the world, growing ever larger and with unknown consequences. I have even heard a story about how one small act of kindness stopped someone from taking their life. They later said it was this small thing that made them decide they would keep trying and then they helped someone else and they found the strength to keep going.
“To love. To be loved. To never forget your own insignificance. To never get used to the unspeakable violence and the vulgar disparity of life around you. To seek joy in the saddest places. To pursue beauty to its lair. To never simplify what is complicated or complicate what is simple. To respect strength, never power. Above all, to watch. To try and understand. To never look away. And never, never to forget.”
― Arundhati Roy, The Cost of Living
We have all seen or heard of the film “Pay it Forward”. A beautiful film, which has immortalised on-screen this effect of doing small acts of kindness and how it can grow beyond anything, we may imagine. Yet, it is only one side of the coin. We can be selfish, self-centred and consumed by our own wants, ignoring everyone and everything else or we can think and act as though we already had a beautiful place In This Wonderful Life.
If you watch the daily news, read the daily papers, even the internet, you can be inundated with the horror stories that can destroy any chance of peace of mind. Occasionally it is impossible to ignore the stories of cruelty perpetuated by other people. Children beaten so badly, like a young toddler today that he could not be saved. We can be brought down by these stories, these acts of barbarism to such an extent that we can find no answer to the question of “Why?” Why do these things happen to innocents before they’ve had a chance to explore this wonderful life?
“Every man has his secret sorrows which the world knows not; and often times we call a man cold when he is only sad.”
― Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
If this question is asked, there is usually someone who will say they were angels, not meant to stay here on earth. Yet I find little comfort in this at times. Even accepting the premise that they chose this life, however brief it was, cannot lift the weight on our hearts at their pain and suffering. How can this be something happening In This Wonderful Life?
Bad things happen because, at present, good people do not do enough to create enough ripples of kindness to prevent bad things happening. It is a wonderful life. It is filled with wonder and joy, happiness and kindness. We can and do make a difference if we chose to. We don’t need coaching to do this because we already know what to do. Being kind, grateful, generous, are already a part of us. We have to make a conscious choice to follow those beautiful parts of ourselves and we can effect wonderful change around us.
When was the last time you smiled at a stranger, or dropped spare change into a buskers cap? When did you last smile at your waitress and genuinely thank her for serving you, thanking her for looking after your needs? When did you thank the lady at the checkout, the baker in the bakery, the butcher for selecting a beautiful cut of meat from the local farm or the stall holder who was selling fresh home-grown vegetables for you to enjoy? In This Wonderful Life there are so many ways we can all make this world a wonderful place, our daily lives a “Wonderful Life”.
“Life will break you. Nobody can protect you from that, and living alone won’t either, for solitude will also break you with its yearning. You have to love. You have to feel. It is the reason you are here on earth. You are here to risk your heart. You are here to be swallowed up. And when it happens that you are broken, or betrayed, or left, or hurt, or death brushes near, let yourself sit by an apple tree and listen to the apples falling all around you in heaps, wasting their sweetness. Tell yourself you tasted as many as you could.”
― Louise Erdrich, The Painted Drum LP
So I would ask you – remember to be Mindful, be in the moment, stop to consider how you think and act and remember that one small act of kindness or generosity can indeed be the small seed to save a life or even save the world. In this Wonderful Life we can make magic happen.
If you are a movie buff, you might be interested in watching an old movie called “It’s a Wonderful Life” with James Stewart. It says everything beautifully.
